 My name is Isabelle Broughton I welcome you to my unique, private, spacious and comfortable home. Tokoeka was made from re-cycled brick in 2000 ,the bricks are now 110 years old.
Tokoeka is very scenically situated in the main village of Halfmoon Bay and overlooks the Tokoeka Gardens, the Village and Bay and out to the Foveaux Strait waters. Every room enjoys wonderful Garden,Village and Ocean views The Bedrooms offered are spacious privately appointed with great views over our Gardens to the Sea beyond . The rooms we offer contain quality furnishings with an array of antique pieces and original Art works. One of the bonus attractions at Tokoeka B&B are the gardens and the many Native Birds who frequent and some of whom nest here. It is usual to see and feed Kaka, Tui and Bell Bird. Tom Tit, Grey Warbler and Weka are commonly viewed in the grounds.Kiwi (Tokoeka) is often sited around the Village,I can direct you to view them Tokoeka is so centrally situated one can walk 600 meters to all Shopping, Food, Information Centre and or Ferry/Plane terminals. Once you arrive I have an orientation tour of 10 minutes duration by car, you are then shown around your holiday accommodation. Once settled in you are offered a welcome beverage and home made biscuits. Transfers/TV/Phone/Internet facilities are 7 -9 am and 7-9pm only
Payment is accepted by Visa/MasterCard /Cheques/Cash with tips accepted.
Payment is taken on departure from Tokoeka B&B . CANCELLATION POLICY No booking is valid until card particulars and or deposit cheque is taken. Any cancellation will pay a 10% Administration fee . Less than 60 days to 30 days 20% charges apply. Less than 30 days 50% charges apply 7 days or less 100% will be deducted from Card Cancellation of booking with Medical Certificate proof will be considered by management and a full refund may be offered.
